It increases access to information and learning resources and expands opportunities for social and civic engagement. Conversely, it also exposes children to an increasing range of unprecedented threats to their safety and wellbeing.
ChildFund’s WEB Safe & Wise initiative focuses on addressing the emerging risks facing young people online, while also supporting children to become effective digital citizens.
WEB Safe & Wise has two goals: to strengthen laws and policies to protect children from online child sexual exploitation and abuse; and for children to be equipped with the skills and knowledge to safely navigate the internet.
